Case: Solid stainless steel early waterproof case with fancy lugs. 4 screws on the back of the lugs are tightened to clamp the 2 part case together. Measures 29mm diameter. 16mm strap.

Dial: Original factory printed two tone Art Deco style dial with inset small seconds at 6:00. Signed Tavannes, Swiss.

Movement: Beautiful 15 Jewels manual wind movement signed Tavannes Watch Co. Swiss, Adjusted. Recently serviced and in excellent working condition.

This is a very stylish early attempt at waterproofing by the well know Cyma/Tavannes watch company. I love how the circular shape of the case is echoed in the fancy lugs and even the unique shape of the hands. It is in beautiful overall condition with a sharp two tone deco style dial. This watch has a special flared crystal that together with a rubber gasket is sandwiched between the bezel and back of the case using 4 small screws, ingeniously creating this early waterproof design.
