Omega Mark V Military Issue RAF Pocket Watch $895
Delivered to the Royal Air Force on the 1st of July 1918, this rare Omega military issue Mark 5 pocket watch is in excellent overall condition with rare iridescent non-luminous dial and original hands. These watches were sometimes used in the cockpits of the legendary Spitfire aircraft, mounted to the dashboard for easy viewing by the pilot. A truly rare and historic timepiece from the famed house of Omega.

Circa: 1917 (WW1)
Case: Large 4-body nickel silver case signed Omega on the inner cover with the "A" over Broad Arrow R.A.F. Logo engraved on the back. Measures 52mm in diameter excluding the stem and bow. Excellent overall condition.
Dial: Original factory printed black enamel dial with rare iridescent copper color numbers, minute track and small seconds. Signed B.B. 2655, 30 Hour, Non Luminous, Mark V. Original hands. A couple of very faint hairline cracks can be found under magnification, but overall in excellent cosmetic condition.
Movement: 19 Ligne Omega Watch Co. manual wind movement with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet over-coil balance-spring and index regulator. Some minor discoloration on the ratchet wheels, but in overall excellent working condition having been just serviced by our watchmaker.
